Come experience Shabumeni Lake and fly-in wilderness fishing at its best. Shabu Wilderness Outposts is located approximately 60 miles north east of Ear Falls, Ontario. We provide air service from Ear Falls to the outpost. Shabu Wilderness Outposts is situated on a hill overlooking the pristine beauty of the lake. Two fully equipped, updated cabins can accommodate up to 12 persons. The camp has solar powered lights, hot/cold running water, showers, gas BBQ, propane fish cooker, wood burning cooking stove, propane refrigerator and a fully equipped kitchen. Shabumeni Lake is narrow and approx. 13 miles long with two inlet rivers and one outlet river that provide for great early season fishing. Along with countless bays and islands are numerous deep water reefs for excellent warm weather fishing. The native Northern Pike abound in Shabumeni. Shabumeni is known for its Walleye population where islands and rock reefs offer a great deal of structure for large Walleye. Conservation fishing has kept the fisheries pristine for throphy class walleye and northerns. Furnished items include boats, motors, seat cushions and back rests, gas, minnow buckets, maps, and your conservation fishing license.
